Man arrested in connection to three bank robberies in Calgary

CALGARY- Police have arrested Christoper James Marsh of Calgary in relation to three bank robberies that took place in the month of December in southeast Calgary.

The 35-year-old has been charged with three counts of robbery.

The first robbery happened at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10th at the CIBC bank in the 100 block of Shawville Blvd S.E.

The second was three days later at 1:15 p.m at the CIBC bank located at in the 4900 block of 130 Avenue S.E.

The third robbery happened around 5:30 p.m. at TD Canada Trust located in the 100 block of Shawville Blvd S.E.

Calgary Police say that in all three robberies Marsh posed as a customer, standing in line waiting to be served.

When he approached the teller, he produced a robbery note and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the premises.

No one was hurt during the robberies.

Police are asking anyone with more information about the incidents to contact them.
