The Grinch strikes early this year after a woman was robbed of her Christmas gifts yesterday morning.
At about 10 a.m. yesterday, a 47-year-old woman walking down Adanac Street near Commercial Drive with a small cart full of wrapped Christmas gifts was attacked from behind by two young women. The two suspects punched the woman in the face and knocked her to the ground, according to Vancouver police.
The victim was dazed and disoriented and after getting to her feet realized the thieves had made off with her gifts. The woman was treated in hospital for a minor abrasion.
Police are looking for two young women who are described as 5’6″ tall with heavy builds and dark hair.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to Vancouver police.
