VANCOUVER – RCMP in Langley are looking for a man they believe was responsible for a vicious assault earlier this year.
The victim was left with a brain injury when he was attacked from behind around midnight on July 20 in the parking lot of the Alder Inn. Police say the victim was walking in the lot when someone punched him in the head. The victim lost consciousness and fell face first into the street. The suspect then kicked the victim in the head before walking away.
Investigators have since obtained still photographs from nearby surveillance cameras and are hoping someone will recognize the man with the white hat. If you have any information that might assist police with this investigation, call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200. You can also contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or at www.solvecrime.ca.
