The calendar features photographs of VPD police dogs with well-known professional athletes and was funded and produced by the Candy Anfield Memorial Foundation. The foundation was created by retired VPD Sergeant Mike Anfield in honour of his wife Candy, a VPD officer who lost her struggle with breast cancer in 2004.

Twenty five of the calendars sold on Monday will contain a pair of Vancouver Giants game tickets and three calendars will contain a voucher for a signed and framed picture of either the BC Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps or the Vancouver Canucks Sedin twin’s calendar shot.
