UPDATE: Gas station employee hit by a vehicle suffers minor injuries

CALGARY- A man suffered minor injuries on Saturday, when he was hit by a cube van.

It happened at the southeast Calgary CO-OP on 50th Avenue.

Police say the employee was measuring tank levels when the cube van hit him.

Initial reports were that the man was dragged by the vehicle and transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.

His condition has since been upgraded and police confirm he suffered only minor injuries.

Occupational health and safety officers are now investigating.

It’s not clear if charges will be laid.
