SASKATOON – Three teens are facing charges after an armed robbery at a Saskatoon convenience store Sunday evening.
According to police, the youth entered the store located in the 400-block of Willowgrove Square around 10:50 p.m.
Their faces were covered and one allegedly pointed a firearm at the female employee and demanded smokes and cash. Another was armed with a knife.
The employee was not physically injured. The trio then took off on foot.
They were tracked down a short time later in nearby residences.
The three, two aged 15 and the other 17, are facing a number of charges including armed robbery and pointing a firearm.
They are scheduled to see a justice of the peace Monday evening.
