Surrey RCMP searching for driver involved in hit-and-run

Surrey RCMP are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash.

Police say a Surrey man in his late 20s was struck by a vehicle just after 7:30 p.m. Friday while standing on the roadway near 83a Ave. and 134th St. The car — believed to be a black Honda Accord–did not stop and was last seen heading west on 83a Ave. The car is believed to have sustained damaged to its windshield. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.
