Police charge man after east end shooting

REGINA – An 18-year-old Regina man is facing weapons charges after shooting out windows in a Regina home Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the area of Fleet Street and Young Crescent where a resident had complained to police that the window of their house had been shot out.

Police saw that the front living room window of the house had been shot and damaged.

No one was injured.

A witness told police that they saw several people running from the scene after the gunshots were heard but it was unknown if they had any involvement in the incident.

Dylan Jake Smith is facing two charges of Fail To Comply, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm Into or At a Place.

Smith made his first court appearance Friday morning.
