NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – A Nova Scotia man is due in court Monday in connection with a serious assault outside a New Glasgow bar earlier this month.
The 23-year-old Pictou County man faces a charge of aggravated assault.

Police say a 46-year-old man was attacked outside the Roseland Cabaret in the early morning hours of Oct. 10.
The victim remains in a Halifax hospital in critical condition with multiple skull fractures and other head injuries.
The suspect was arrested last week.
