SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are investigating a reported sexual assault that took place last weekend underneath the Broadway Bridge on the east side of the river.
A police service release states that a 25-year-old woman was waiting for a friend at roughly 7 a.m. on Oct. 11 when she was approached from behind by a man who threatened her with a knife and touched her inappropriately.
She reportedly shouted and punched the suspect in the face, before he fled. She was not injured.
The release states that the suspect was wearing all black, with his hood up and had a red bandana covering his face.
