Boy injured after stepping into traffic in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – A 10-year-old boy was injured Tuesday morning after he was hit by a vehicle.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 600-block of Pendygrasse Road.

Police say the boy was walking on the sidewalk when he stepped into traffic.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic in the area was restricted while police carried out their investigation.

No charges are being laid against the driver.
