UPDATE: RCMP say an autopsy on Friday confirmed 61-year-old James Painter was killed. He was found dead in his mobile home last Wednesday. They are not releasing the cause of death, but say he did not die from natural causes.
VANCOUVER – RCMP say they are currently investigating a suspicious death in Clinton, but are providing few other details at this time.
They will say that they responded to a 911 call on Thursday and when they arrived at the undisclosed location, they found Emergency Health Services were attempting to assist an unresponsive man.
They were not successful and RCMP say they are treating the death as suspicious.
