John Chick and Rob Bagg named CFL players of the month

REGINA – The honours just keep racking up for Saskatchewan Roughriders John Chick and Rob Bagg as both guys were named CFL players of the month.

Chick, who was named defensive player of the month, played five games in August and had 12 tackles, six quarterback sacks and one forced fumble.

Chick was also named the CFL’s best defensive player of the month in July.

Bagg was named Canadian player of the month after he caught 23 passes for 357 yards and a touchdown.

This is the first time in Bagg’s career he’s earned that honour.

Edmonton Eskimos Adarius Bowman was named offensive player of the month, and B.C. Lions Tim Brown was also named special teams player of the month.
