EDMONTON – A 41-year-old Edmonton man is facing several impaired driving related charges after providing two breath samples analysed at more than three times the legal limit.
On August 31 at around 2:30 p.m., Leduc RCMP were contacted about an erratic driver heading north on Highway II approaching Leduc.
Witnesses described the motorist’s driving pattern as “dramatic” and said he drove in and out of the ditch.
RCMP officers stopped the vehicle and say the driver was visibly intoxicated.
He was arrested and taken to the RCMP detachment where he gave two breath samples.
Jake Adrian Houle has been charged with driving while suspended, impaired driving, driving over .08, and dangerous driving.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear in Leduc Provincial Court on September 4.
