SASKATOON – A Saskatoon taxi driver was robbed early Tuesday morning by two men, one who was armed with a handgun.
The cabbie had picked up the two men at a business located at Idylwyld Drive and 33rd Street and while driving the men to their destination, was told to pull over at the intersection of 35th Street and Avenue C.
One of the men then pulled out a handgun and demanded cash. The pair then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The first suspect is described as native, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’10” with a slim build, short black hair and wearing a blue and white checkered shirt and grey sweatpants.
The second suspect is described as native, 5’6” to 5’8” with an average build and black hair shaved on the sides.
