SASKATOON –A teen is recovering in hospital and two people are facing charges after a stabbing at the Saskatoon Ex on Thursday evening.
A 15-year-old male youth was stabbed in the chest and arms around 8:45 p.m. on the grounds of the Ex.
He was taken to Royal University Hospital with serious injuries and is reported to be in stable condition.
Two suspects were taken into custody by police and Exhibition security staff.
A 17-year-old male youth has been charged with aggravated assault while a 20-year-old man is charged with common assault. Their names have not been released.
Both are scheduled to appear before a justice of the peace Friday evening.
Police say both the victim and the suspects are known to each other and believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.
