The sister of a man fatally shot by RCMP officers in Prince George is calling for the investigation in the case to be re-opened.
Greg Matters, a military veteran suffering from PTSD, was killed by police at his home in September 2012.
Officers say they opened fire because matters was waving a hatchet.
The case was handled by the Independent Investigations Office.
Now, a third party has now been asked to review its handling of the incident because of conflicting details about Matters’ wounds.
Matter’s sister Tracey says that’s not good enough and believes all of the facts need to be reviewed.
