HALIFAX – A 21-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge after a stabbing in Halifax.
Police say they responded to a 911 call on Sunday just before midnight on Prospect Road in the Bayside area.

Investigators say when they arrived they encountered a 51-year-old man who had been stabbed several times.
He was taken to hospital and was listed in serious condition.
Police say William Beckman has also been charged with assault with a weapon.
They say the suspect and the man who was allegedly stabbed know each other.
