The man accused of sexually assaulting a female jogger in Stanley Park May 26 is expected to appear in court this morning.
Clinton Bruce Brown, a Burns Lake resident, was arrested and charged in connection with the attack that occurred in broad daylight last month.
A woman was jogging near Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park at about 8:30 a.m. when police say she was grabbed from behind, knocked to the ground and groped. The victim managed to fight off the attacker.
Police say she was not physically injured but suffered significant emotional distress.
The 37-year-old Brown will be appearing in provincial court at 9:30 a.m. this morning.
