KELOWNA–Hundreds gathered at the Parkinson Recreation Centre in Kelowna this morning for the March Against Monsanto.
The demonstrators oppose the genetic modification of food.

They marched from the Parkinson Recreation Centre waving hand drawn signs and yelling protest chants.
The group is calling for greater protection of food supplies and looking to raise awareness for what they say are the harmful impacts of genetically modified foods.
Organizers are also calling for all GMO products to be labelled.
