PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Two men are facing charges after being busted with marijuana during a traffic stop in Prince Albert, Sask. on Monday afternoon.
Police stopped the vehicle just after 5 p.m. after receiving a complaint the occupants were trafficking marijuana.
Officers smelled a strong marijuana odour coming from inside the vehicle and arrested the two men, 18 and 19.
Their names have not been released,
A search turned up 94.5 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $900, cash and drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking.
The pair will appear in Prince Albert provincial court on June 3 on charges of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.
