HALIFAX – Police are investigating a small fire that occurred at St. Andrew’s United Church early Monday morning.

The Halifax Fire Department was called to the scene around 2:15 a.m. and quickly extinguished the flames. The fire started with a pile of cardboard and paper and caused minimal damage.
Police said the nature of the fire is suspicious.
