EDMONTON – A man is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an overnight stabbing in north Edmonton.
Police say a person was driving past Commonwealth Stadium around 4 a.m. Saturday and saw an injured man.
When officers arrived the man was on the ground, suffering from a major cut to his neck.
Police say the man lost a lot of blood; he was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Officers say the man, whose name and age have not been released, is cooperating with police.
No one is in custody at this time.
