A high-angle rescue had to be performed to reach a stranded crane operator in south Vancouver today.
The operator was working on a high-rise construction site at Marine and Cambie when he came into contact with a power line, trapping him 150 feet up.

Fire crews had to wait for BC Hydro to shut off the power before they could rescue him.
The operator was not injured.
