REGINA – Regina police have made an arrest after a man was shot on the corner of 4th Avenue and Athol Street on Friday night.
On Friday it was reported that a man got out of a vehicle, approached another man on the street, and shot him before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
20-year-old Kenyon Ralph Kay has been charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm Contrary To Prohibition.
The 19 year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but his condition has stabilized and police were able to speak to him.
Kay made his first court appearance Monday morning in Regina.
Police are also investigating whether this is a gang related shooting.
