RCMP are turning to the public for their help following a robbery in Chilliwack on April 4.
At 3 p.m. a teenage male was walking eastbound in the 45500 block of South Sumas Road when he was approached by five Caucasian males.
One of the suspects, described as blond and wearing a white t-shirt, khaki jeans, white Nike high top shoes and silver chain, demanded the teen’s iPad. He threatened the teen if he did not hand over the iPad.
Although the victim surrendered his iPad, he sustained minor injuries when he was pushed and punched by the group.
The other four males in the group were described as all having dark hair and wearing jeans. One male was wearing a Slayer monogrammed hoody sweatshirt.
Mounties are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Chilliwack detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
