PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A woman is recovering from injuries and two people are in custody after a stabbing in Prince Albert, Sask.
Police were called to a business in the Unit Block of River Street West just before 2 a.m. where they found an 18-year-old woman with a non-life threatening wound to her head.
She was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
The suspects fled in a car and were tracked to a residence in the 1500-block of 16th Street West where a 25-year-old woman was arrested. She has been charged with aggravated assault.
A man fled on foot but was tracked down by Jagger, a canine officer. The 24-year-old man is charged with aggravated assault and breach of recognizance.
Their names have not been released and police continue to investigate.
