HALIFAX – Police in Grand Prairie, Alta. have arrested six men in connection with a drug-trafficking network that allegedly has ties to Halifax.

The Grand Prairie Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit arrested six men, all originally from Halifax, on March 19 after a five-month investigation.

The men facing a total of 19 drug- and weapons-related charges are:

  • Derek Cawthorn, 23
