A man has died after crashing a vehicle into a tree in Burnaby Friday morning, RCMP confirm.
Mounties say the crash happened on Goring Street near Holdom Avenue at around 9:20 a.m.

The single male occupant of the vehicle died upon impact. Mounties say speed and alcohol may have been a factor.
No one else was injured in the crash and there was no other damage to the area.
