A 70-year-old man has died after being found with critical injuries in his East Vancouver home early Sunday morning, according to police.
Paramedics were called to the basement suite of a home on East 6th Avenue near Brunswick Street at around 6 a.m.

Inside, they found a severely injured man. He was taken to hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries.
Police are speaking with a person of interest in the case.
The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives from the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section are investigating.
