A 78-year-old Surrey man is recovering from injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing 120th Street near 80th Avenue last night. The vehicle then fled the scene.

Paramedics took the man to hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was not in a crosswalk when he was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle.
Surrey RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
