The city is gearing up for its annual hiring fair at the BMO Centre next month.
Organizers anticipate more than 5,000 job opportunities in a variety of sectors for young job seekers.
Employers from all areas will be looking for full-time, part-time and seasonal workers.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for youth to find their ideal job, “says Alas Gillies, a Community Liaison with the Youth Employment Centre. “It’s free for youth age 15-24 to attend”
It’s a one stop shop-offering jobs in everything from recreation, trades, logistics to employment in the financial industry.
Youth that attend are encouraged to dress to impress, bring their resumes and be ready for on-the spot interviews.
The fair is on April 8th and there are still spots left for employers interested in a booth at the fair.
