Interesting Fact: Devon Kershaw had a heartbreaking 5th-place finish in the 50-kilometre mass start event at the Vancouver Games. He missed out on being the first Canadian man to win an Olympic medal in cross country skiing by 0.6 seconds.

Chances: Kershaw will pair with Harvey in the team sprint event. Having finished 4th in Vancouver, they are considered to be legitimate medal contenders in Sochi. Kershaw could also put up a fight again individually, in the 50-kilometrem event.
