Nearly seven months after her disappearance, the search has officially resumed for Melissa McDevitt. The 39-year-old vanished back in December, after heading out for a hike in sooke. An intense effort was launched to find her, but it failed to turn up any clues and was eventually suspended. now new information has searchers re-deployed. And as Julia Foy reports, it’s all thanks to a dedicated group of backcountry enthusiasts.
