Pop culture is all around us: the Kardashians, memes, TikTok, Twitter, and TMZ… some people try to avoid it, but Vancouver writer Jen Sookfong Lee has embraced it since she was a little girl. And it’s the basis of her new memoir, Superfan: How Pop Culture Broke My Heart. From Bob Ross to Rihanna to Anne of Green Gables, they were all part of her life’s pivotal moments.
