Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson responded to concerns on Wednesday regarding the province’s tabled bill that would require safe consumption sites to apply for a provincial licence. Stefanson said the goal of the proposed bill aims to keep Manitoba safe. Treatment centres with beds and withdrawal-management centres would also require a licence under the proposed bill.
