Manitoba premier responds to concerns regarding safe consumption site bill

Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson responded to concerns on Wednesday regarding the province's tabled bill that would require safe consumption sites to apply for a provincial licence. Stefanson said the goal of the proposed bill aims to keep Manitoba safe. Treatment centres with beds and withdrawal-management centres would also require a licence under the proposed bill.
