The lucky Nova Scotian winner of the $31-million Lotto Max jackpot, Mary McCarthy, received a giant cheque in Sydney, N.S. on Thursday, more than a month after the draw. It’s the largest lottery prize ever in Nova Scotia and the Maritimes.
