Speaking during question period on Tuesday, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh again called attention to ongoing issues in Canada’s long-term care homes and demanded that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “legislate standards” in these facilities. His question come as the Health Standards Organization released updated standards that say residents should get at least four hours of direct care every day.
