Brazil riots eerily similar to 2021 attack on U.S. Capitol

The riots at Brazil’s Congress, Supreme Court and the presidential palace are being compared to the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, which both unfolded in response to the results of a federal election. Jackson Proskow looks at the similarities between both attempted insurrections, and how the events in Brasilia appears to be inspired by what happened in Washington.
