Saskatoon City Councilor takes action to address offensive odours from processing plant

Randy Donauer, Saskatoon City Councilor of Ward 5, spoke on Tuesday following a motion submitted to council regarding offensive odours emanating from a rendering plant in the north end of the city. Donauer said the rendering plant is in a heavy industrial area where noise and odours are to be expected, but residents — including Donauer — are concerned by the regularity of the odour.
