Speaking to media in Ottawa on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was asked about Alberta’s proposed sovereignty act, to which he stated the government will keep tabs on “very, very closely,” including its implications. He reiterated that his government is still focusing on delivering services to Albertans, including affordable childcare and a clean economy. Trudeau also said Ottawa is “not looking for a fight.”
