Florida Gov. DeSantis calls China’s zero-COVID policy ‘draconian’ as he voices support for protesters

Speaking in Jacksonville, Fla., on Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called China’s zero-COVID policy “draconian,” adding that it needs to go to the “ash heap of history,” as he voiced his support for people protesting it in China. “It violates people’s liberties and it is completely unscientific,” he said.
