A motion that would support the removal of Iran from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, was passed in the House of Commons on Monday. The motion was introduced by Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman and comes as protests against the Iranian regime have grown throughout the world after the death of Mahsa Amini during her detention with Iran’s ‘morality police.’
