From non-stop racing through humid jungles, to climbing active volcanoes, the 165-kilometre Grand Raid de la Réunion ultramarathon is one of the toughest races in the world. Mike Armstrong spoke to Kelsey Hobson, one of more than a dozen Canadians who competed, on what she endured in the hellish gauntlet.
