Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Wednesday that despite being verbally attacked during her visit to Alberta, she did receive a warm welcome as she toured the province and that she still feels “really proud” of her Alberta roots. However, she reiterated that the incident was “wrong” but doesn’t overshadow the warm welcome she had.
