Jackie Snarr’s grandson lives with cystic fibrosis. Snarr reacted on Wednesday to the province’s announcement to open up Trikafta eligibility to children age 6 and up. Previously the eligibility for access to Trikafta, a drug used to treat cystic fibrosis, was 12 and up. This change comes after the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health recommended an adjustment to allow younger children to access the drug last month.
