Peel Regional Police Supt. Sean Gormley spoke Thursday about the attack of a man in Brampton that occurred Aug. 4 with three suspects using an axe and a machete. He said the man, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries was “brutally attacked” and police believe it was a “targeted incident” and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
