A camper van was destroyed by fire in Hamilton Township Wednesday afternoon.
Cobourg and Hamilton fire departments responded to several reports of black smoke at Cunningham Road.
Crews arrived to the scene at Cunningham and Danforth Road around 4:30 p.m. to find a camper engulfed.
They were able to quickly control the fire, but the camper was destroyed.
Careless smoking is believed to be the source of the blaze.
