Actor Matthew McConaughey on Tuesday criticized lawmakers’ inaction on gun reform in the U.S. just two weeks after the mass shooting at a school in Uvalde, Texas. He said it was not a partisan issue, and called on lawmakers to make “the right choices on the issue that is in front of us today.” He added that the country faced a “life preservation problem” and that politicians need to start making laws that also don’t infringe on Second Amendment rights.
